Our Story – The Start of a Spiritual Journey
Shri Mahakal Bhakti Nivas is not just a hotel; it is a project of religious service. It was founded in 2010 by a devotee of Lord Mahakaleshwar, Shri Ramnath Ji. He once had a dream where Lord Mahakal told him, “Make arrangements for my devotees to stay.” This divine command led to the foundation of this guest house. Our goal is to provide Mahakal devotees with affordable, clean, and religious accommodation.
Our Values – Protecting Religion and Culture
We believe that maintaining the purity of Mahakal Dham is our primary duty. Therefore, we have some special rules that align with our religious beliefs. We only provide rooms to families and groups. We do not have a policy of giving rooms to unmarried couples because we give the highest priority to maintaining the sanctity of Mahakal Dham and the dignity of Indian culture.
Service with Devotion
All our staff are devotees of Mahakal and believe that service is the greatest form of worship. Our 24/7 service includes not just room cleaning and facilities, but also care for the spiritual needs of the devotees. We regularly organize devotional songs and prayers (bhajan-kirtan) and provide guidance for visits to the Mahakal temple.
Facilities – A Blend of Modernity and Tradition
We have combined modern facilities with a religious atmosphere. All essential amenities like AC/Non-AC rooms, free parking, 24/7 security, and laundry service are available, but everything is within religious boundaries. All our rooms have a small prayer area facing the temple direction, where devotees can perform daily worship.
Our Commitment – Serving the Devotees
We believe that with the blessings of Lord Mahakal, we are able to do this service. Our aim is to ensure that no devotee misses the opportunity to visit Mahakal due to financial constraints. Therefore, we provide pure vegetarian food and accommodation at the most affordable rates in the world.

Why We Don’t Allow Unmarried Couples – Religious Reasons
There are deep religious beliefs behind our policy of not providing rooms to unmarried couples:
1. Preserving Religious Purity
Mahakal Dham is a holy pilgrimage site where devotees come seeking salvation and spiritual peace. We want to maintain this sacred atmosphere.
2. Respect for Indian Culture
In our culture, pre-marital relationships are not considered appropriate. We follow our cultural boundaries.
3. Protecting Family Values
We promote family values and only encourage a family-friendly environment.
4. The Feelings of Other Devotees
Most devotees who come here are here for religious purposes and expect a pious environment.
We believe that Mahakal Dham is a place for spiritual growth, where every rule is made to promote devotion and self-discipline.
